Our Sweet Missy traveled over the Rainbow Bridge on Wednesday, November 11, 2009 at 6:15 pm. She was held by Mommie all day long. We are all going to miss her so very much. We Love You Missy.

UPDATE

We have even more sad mews, Monte could not stand it without his sister and best friend. He passed away Friday Night. Munchkin is doing fine and doesn't seem to be catching anything, so I am unsure as to what really happened to my two special babies. Thank you for all the special purrs and huggs.

Happy New Year.

Sorry that Mommie has not posted since June. She just has been too depressed and busy with everything else. She has had it on her mind that she needs to find time, but she just hasn't had the heart lately. We are all fine here. Missy still cares about Sabi, Monte misses Ana terribly and well Munchkin he is just Munchkin.

We are not doing too much here at the M's tonight. Mommy and Daddy have to go to another town to move his sister and her family in with us and that will add another 4 cats and 4 more adults in the house. Can anyone say OMG!!!!! We will make do though, trying to help them better themselves and for the kids.

We wish you all the best, and hopefully we will get to see you all around the blogspot more often.

Mommie has been feeling terrible because she has not taken the time to post for us. She has been busy at work and with the young beans who have both had birthdays, as well as two of us here at "The M's".
The young beans are out of school and back to pestering, I mean loving and pampering some of us. The girl bean gotted some kind of letter from the President because of her smartiness. And Mommie boughted them both cell phones, now all they do is take pictures of us and text their friends. Geesh!!!
They also gotted another animal and putted him in the back yard wif the other animal, most of you know what that is, a d#g!! Oh, how we cats here at The M's detest that word. He has come in the house a couple or four times and eats our food. The young beans have to put it up on the counter when he is in here, and we don't like it. If you must know it is a German Shepard puppy. His name is not in the M family, daddy named him, his name is, get this, Cowboy. Now just what is up with that? He don't wear no boots or jeans, and he certainly cannot ride a horse, so why call him a cowboy? Beans!!!
Well, Mommie has taken up another hobby, especally since she works where she has to wear a badge. She makes beaded breakaway lanyards. She has made some for lonhorn fans, ou and osu fans, and last but not least, New York Yanky fans. She listed one on ebay, just to see how they would sell, as she can't hardly keep up at work. Long Time No Meow

Missy here, I have finally put my paws down and made Mommie type for me. We have not been allowed on the computer while she is at work and when she is home, she is too tired to look at a computer much less type for me. But tonight I met her at the door and put my paws down, all four of them. I tolded her that I was tired of not being able to let my friends know how we are, and I wanted her to post for me now. Well, as you can see I got my demands met.
We are all okay, getting kind of used to the new routine around here. Mommie goes to work early Monday - Friday and usually comes home, with the young beans, when the sun if still shinning. Daddy gets the young beans to school and then lays back down, and I join him, he gets up in the afternoon and goes to work, he doesn't get home until the moon is shinning high in the sky.
Sometimes like tonight Mommie and the young beans did not get home until the moon was halfway up in the sky. She said something about the Civil War starting up again. I didn't even know anything about it the first time, I wasn't even thought about way back then.
Whats that Mommie, oh the Northerners and the Southerners are fighting at where you work? Well, here is my way to fix that, send the North to the East and the South to the West. What do you mean, that won't work? Oh, they are gangs, and they will just keep fighting, well, ppssstttt on them. And that's all I have to say about that.
Mommie says that her fingers are tired and need a rest, so I guess I had better let her stop, or she says she won't give me the special treats she has for us, something about greenies...gotta go. Love and miss you all. I especially miss you Sabi.

We have been after mommie for days to let you guys know that we are still alive and well. She has been working lots, we miss her. She has also been trying to deliver the cookies that the girl bean sold for Girl Scouts, that is really getting her down, lots of peoples that ordered don't want them now.
She says at work that they have moved her to California, we don't know how, we have not moved, oh she works for the people in the office that is over the CA jurisdiction. Whatever!!
Anyhow, she would like for you all to know that she misses you all and hopes to find extra time to blog, she diffinately can not do that at work, or she will get fired.

Missy here, the beans went to Amadillo yesturday and lefted us here. They boughted them lots of different kinds of foods, they brought us de biggest bag of cat food we has ever seen. I heard the bean girl talking about growing us some grass? Oh, and guess what? They got us a new litter box!!! hehehehe.....Munchkin here.....I can't stop laughing.....hehehehe. I played a joke on Mommie and the young beans tonight.....hehehe. Every night the boy bean has to take me to bed with him, so tonight I decided that I was not going to go to bed at all. No sirreee no way no how. So I decided to hide really good, I crept into Mommies closet and got behind one of her craft containers and stayed there. Well, I guess I forgot that they were not ready for bed when I did that and well I fell asleep, so asleep that I did not hear them calling my name and even tried to get me to come out by shaking the temptations bag. I was hiding good let me tell you. Finally Mommie moved the container just enough to wake me but not for her to see me, well, I got out to look and see if they were ready to go to bed and the girl bean spotted me. Well, now I couldn't get back into my hidey spot quick enough and well, you guessed it, I had to go to bed with the boy bean. And I didn't even get any temptations, so I ask, "Who was the joke really on? Them or me?"

I have been doing alot of this since Mommie is working. Mommie has been on the puter lots, however she says that she is not visiting our friends, she is typing up notes that she takes is class, an eight hour class makes for lots of notes. First Day Done

Mommie gotted home wif the young beans, and yes it was dark, well almost. She said that she was frisked more times than she can count, and is going to have to get gassed and pepper sprayed, however, that is not until her 3rd week of academy. She says that she doesn't mind the gas so much as she is kinda used to it, with 2 male cats and 2 male beans, it can really get stinky around here....hehehe. The pepper spray is a little bit more worrisome to her. She has some longtime friends already working there and she thinks that if they can do it, well she can too.
She got to watch the last class of 07 graduate today, and she is one of 19 in the first class of 08. From what she has seen and heard today, the company seems to be a really great company to work for. She says that she is no longer the only girl in her family as she now has hundreds of family members, she just doesn't know all of them and probably might never know all of them.
Well she says that she has to hit the hay, she doesn't want to get fired by falling asleep in academy. Thanks again for all the warm fuzzys you have sent her, it really helps.

Today is the start of a new beginning

Well, today is the day, Mommie gotted up really early and has gotten herself all prettied up. We know that she is nervous in one way and not so much in another as she has academy for two weeks before she does any real work.
She keeps telling us that she will not be home until it is dark again, we are going to teleport to various places and visit you guys, if we show up at your house do not be surprised to see us.

Job Interview

Update: Mommie gotted the job!!!! She was so excited that she had to go buy her some new clothes, in bad weather. She is going to be an Administrative Clerk at a minimum security prison, she will be working Monday thru Friday from 8am to 5pm, she starts right after the new year. She says that we will be able to get more temptations and toys, yippeee.
She would like to thank all of her friends in the cat blogosphere, she is sorry for not blogging and commenting much lately, she has really been depressed lately, finances were the cause, you all know how it can be. She will probably not be able to blog as much as she would like, but we will think about you all and be your furrever friends.

Our Mommie has a job interview today, please send positive thoughts and purrayers her way. She is nervous and afraid that she might blow the interview, or that they may not want her since she had not worked in over a year.

The other night, Mommie kept hearing me mew. It was after the young beans had gone to bed, Mommie kept ignoring me, telling me to be quiet that I would wake the kids. I guess that Mommie finally had enough and thought that one of them had me trapped is some way. So she got up and went to look in the bedrooms, well, she turned on the bathroom light, that way she would not wake up the beans. She looked around the corner into the bathroom and this is what she saw. Don't you think I look cute? I was waiting for Missy or Monte to come in so I could pounce on them. Plus I found a great new toy in the tub, you can see it to my right. It keeps the toys from going down the big black hole, when I am playing tub soccer.

Mommie took the young beans trick-or-treating last night, as tonight is a church nite. They had lots of fun and got plenty of goodies, however, they came across something so very scary while they were out. No, it was not ghosts and goblins, it was worse. Missy here, Mommie finally turneed on the heater. She has also put back my throne over the heater vent, she had to I was laying on the heater vent blocking the heat from her. Hehehe.
Anyways, I was looking at the monitor this evening and she was looking at this site. She said something about going there tomorrow, what is going on here, she is hardly ever home anymore!! I think that I am going to go on strike, would that help? She is gone most of the time, so who would I be hurting, me or her?

Mancat Monday - Munchkin

Did I ever tell you that I love, love, love to lay on plastic? If there is ever a plastic bag laying around you are certain to find me either in it or on it.
Mommie says that she is going to try to be home for a couple of days, then she has to take her Pa bean to the doctor for a checkup. She also said something about it being fall break later this week, however, I am confused, how does she know that something is going to fall and break this week? Anyone have any ideas?
Mommie and all the beans were gone from Friday evening to late late late Saturday night, she took lots of something that she calls sleeping bags and stuff like that. I overheard them say something about Cub Family Adventure, I smelled her when she got back and she definately had lots of different smells on her. She did not take her camera so there are no pictures of me to show you, but, they are going back for an evening around the 27th, Spook Trail?, and hopefully she can take pics then.
We would like to thank all of our furrends and family for all the thoughts and purrayers for our Granbean, she is doing lots better, and Pabean is doing okay too.

Her Mom called her tonight and reported that she had taken way too much insulin this evening. Our Mommie is going to go stay the night with her and take her to the hospital, if necessary. Missy here: I am getting put out at Mommie and the bean girl. Mommie took the bean girl early Saturday morning, along with a lot of bags, and did not come back home until after lunch on Sunday. They had lots of different smells on them. I do not know where they went, however, I do not want them to leave me like that again. Plus Mommie has been gone lots during the days during the week.
What's that Monte, they are all going to be gone for two nights in a couple of weeks? What the heck is going on round here? I will not allow it, no way no how!!

Mommie here: I must admit that I have been gone lots from you lately, however, I have been busy helping my Mom and Dad. I had to take their new van to Amarillo Wednesday, they had a Bruno Turney seat put into it so that my Dad can be more mobile. Then I had to go Friday to pick it back up.
Yes, I took your bean girl away from you for one night, I apologise, but she went to her first Girl Scout camp out. She did bring you your favorite toys back: FEVVERS!!!, and a big one at that, I think it was a from a turkey.
Yes, in a couple of weeks we will all be gone for two nights, the boy bean has a Family Fun Adventure thru his Cub Scout pack and we will all be attending that, hopefully we can bring you more fevers and lots of different smells on us.
I again apologise, for being gone lots lately, however this is just a very busy time, with ballgames and activities with the young beans, plus helping my parents with some farming. Do not be too upset with me Missy, I do love you and I miss you, and Monte and Munchkin, when I am gone from home.

Munchkin is officially a Mancat, yippee!!! He would like to thank all of you who have been purraying for his Mommies Dad, he is home now, but having lots of trouble walking and getting around. Mommie is going out there quite alot and doing some of the farm work for her Mom. Munchkin would also like to let everyone know that he does miss getting to visit with all his friends in the blogosphere, with his Mommie gone it is hard for him to get on the web.

Pa is still not home and neither is Mommy

Mommie has been gone quite a lot this week, her Dad is still in the hospital. They are not even certain if he will get to come home tomorrow(Friday). He has has a couple of spells and the Doctor is not quite certain as to let him go home or not. Wednesday we thought that he might have aspirated a pill or something, which caused him to not be able to breathe well and today he was wheezing, we are still not certain if he did or not.
We will try to keep you updated as much as we can, kind of hard to do when Mommie is gone from early morning to late at night, she says she has been staying with her parents at the hospital, and she definitely does smell different. Her Mom has only left the hospital for one night, not that he is that bad, he just does not like to be left, he is afraid that something will happen to him and no one will be there to help him. Thank you to all who have sent thoughts and prayers, we appreciate everyone of you out there. The M's.

We are mad at Mommie

Munchkin here, we are going to have to put the bitey on Mommie. We do not care that she has been at the hospital all day wif her Daddy, we are MAD. Mommie left as soon as the young beans went to school, in fact, she took them to school. Mommie was gone all day until about 2:30 this afternoon, the young beans were soon to be out of school. She cleaned out our litter box and washed it out after the young beans got home. She gave them a snack and they left for the hospital. She did not re-fill the litter box!!!! We had to wait until she got back home tonight to be able to go potty. Our legs were so tightly crossed we had to be carried to the litter box. How could she have done that to us, we are definitely not going to tuck her into bed tonight or sleep wif her. Oh, you want a minute on the computer to let everyone know about your Daddy bean? Who do you think you are? What's that Missy, if I don't let her on, we might not get treats? Oh mouse droppings, I guess you can have one minute, then its treat time.

Mommie here, my Daddy bean is better. His kidneys we working this am when I got to the hospital, and he was more alert than he has been for a couple of days. He ate a good lunch and a really good supper, if you remember, he has not been eating well. My Mom felt that he is well enough that she could go home tonight and hopefully get a full nights sleep. The Doctor said that he might be able to come home tomorrow, if everything looks okay. Thank you all for your thoughts and prayers.

No Mancat Monday

Mommie was going to post a Mancat photo of Munchkin today, since he is officially a Mancat, but that was not to be done. Mommie got a call this morning that her Mom needed her to take her to town. When they got back to her house Mommies Daddy was having a seizure. His kidneys had not been acting very nice the last few days and today they were not acting at all. They called the home health people and a nurse came out and checked him over, and took blood and what little urine they could steal from him. They tested them and they came back that he needed to go to the hospital. We finally got him to the hospital around 4pm today and when Mommie and the young beans left him tonight he was chilling. However, his kidneys had still not started to work. He is dehydrated though so maybe with pushing fluids, not good for congestive heart failure, they will start working tomorrow. Mommie is going back to the hospital in the morning after she gets the young beans in school, hopefully we can get updates on here tomorrow evening.

Saturday finally got here. Mommie and a couple other ladies have been working on the float for about two weeks. The only pictures Mommie was able to take were before the parade, since she was in the pickup(human PTU). So, without further ado......

Mommie made the girls dresses, aprons and bonnets, the cover for the wagon and the teepee(the kids decorated it). If you look closely in the bottom picture you will see that the settlers were taking provisions along too, they had flour, sugar and apples. (Remember to click to biggify.)

Hello everyone, I have been letting Monte have his time on the blog since his girl went missing. We all miss you Anastasia.
I have been busy helping Mommie make a dress for a parade this weekend, she has made a covered wagon top, and a teepee. She has been gone lots lately, building a float?, what the heck is that? Mommie says that she will post pictures of the parade, if she isn't too busy helping with the parade.
Anyway, I got to play with her pin cushion today, it has a little strawberry on it that I can carry away in my mouth. She has had to look for that little toy two times today, hehehe.....Munchkin

I would like to show off my whiskers, my first birthday is next month so I am getting ready to be a true Mancat. As you can see, I have plenty of whiskers and they are very long. Mommie has noticed that I have grown some lately and am following her around more. I will be looking more for a girl cat soon, however, I don't think that I will go as crazy as Monte has. Don't get me wrong Anastasia, I think that you are the purrefect lady cat for Monte, I think that I will try to be a little more reserved than Monte is, in the love department. Today is our Mommies Daddy's Birthday. He was taken out to dinner and both his children were there along with their spouses and children. We then took him home to have cake and ice cream. He had a wonderful time with all his family. We love you Pa!!!!!!

Missy here, I have been very busy while the younger beans have been back to school. I have time to take naps, so maybe they are in the girl beans bed, it's soft. I can work on my modeling, although I will never be as good as Daisy is, but it is fun. I love my new feather boa.

Well. I guess I had better get back to making the boys mind, Munchkin has been chasing Monte around the house, something about making certain that the rugs are all still attached to the floor, boys!!!!!!

Hey everybody, I made it back from the Trojan War. As you can see noone stands a chance against, me, "The Mighty Munchkin".
I have been busy the last few days, making certain that the rugs are still secure to the floors, running 90 mph at all times. Making certain that Daddy and Mommie get up on time, I sit in the doorway when I hear the alarms and if they do not get up quickly enough, well, it's pounce time. I make certain that noone gets hurted in the wet box, and meow at Mommie while she is in it, okay, so I get lonely, enough said! Oops gotta go, rugs to be checked and things to be knocked off, later guys.

We're Back

Mommie hadded to take the puter to the V-E-T. She said that it costed lots of green papers to get it back up and running right, she said that we might not be able to buy any temptations...we is gonna cry.
We have missed you all, Mommie was starting to have withdrawls. is that anything like running out of nip? Anyway it will be a few days before we can get to all our friends, Daddy has to install the second harddrive for Mommie, it is where she backed everything up to. Hopefully, that horrible trojan horse didn't get into it.
Mommie says that we will all get to have a day each to tell you what has been going on while the computer was gone. We will definately put the bitey on her if we don't get to tell you all what we have been doing while the young beans have been in school.

Mommie Is NOT happy

Mommie was gone all day wif the younger beans taking her parents to the Doctors a squillion miles away. We heard Daddy call Mommie and tell her that Monte's picture of Ana was gone off the desktop, Missy and I thought that Monte was gonna have a heartattack when he heard that. Well anyway, Mommie tolded him to leave the computer alone and she would fix it when she got home.
When Mommie got home we thought that everything was going to be okay. Little did we know!! Mommie worked and worked and worked some more trying to undo what Daddy had done. Well she finally got it undone, she had to format the harddrive!! Can you believe it? She had to kill the puter. We thought at one time we heard her say if she had a shotgun she would just shoot the thing, everybody took cover at that time. She had to make a phone call and was on the phone with someone in India for about an hour and a half getting the drive going again. Thank goodness she had her mind straight and moved all the pictures over to the backup drive so that she would not lose any of them. She now has to spend about another half day reloading all the programs that she has. We are going to put the bitey on Daddy the next time he is on the computer downloading things that should be left alone, or at least to someone who knows more.
Yes Monte, Mommie has Ana's picture back up for you to see, all is well for you.

Sorry that we have not been posting much this week, Mommie has been exta busy with different things this week, we have been lurking but not commenting much, thanks for baring with us.
Wednesday the young beans had a dental apt a squillion miles from here, and Thursday she was sick most of the day. Friday Mommie's Mom had family in and you know how that goes, we were lucky to get feed.
Today, well the bean boy woke Mommie and Daddy up by yelling that today was the fishing derby, did he say fish? Well they finally got back and all they brought was fish smelling hands, what a rip off. And our food bowl is empty!!!!
Well at least the bean kids won something, the boy bean won the award for the most fish caught, 11. The girl bean won the most caught, the heaviest and the longest of the girls team. Mommie says her arm hurts from having to cast so many times for the girl bean, but they have finally caught fishing fever. Yeah!!!!

Quick note, the boy bean is having to go to the human v-e-t this afternoon. He was kicked by a very mean boy at the pool yesturday and is having problems going to the human litter box today. We will let you know what we find out. Thanks in advance for your thoughts and purrayers.

Update: Doctor said that bean boy should be okay. Just to watch him for a couple of days and take a mild pain killer if needed. Again, thank you for your purrayers and positive thoughts.

The girl bean has aked to use the blog for today, since she is the one who cleans out our litter box and feeds us, we have decided to let her use it.
Sarah has made a decision, she has finally decided what she wants her room to look like.

Monte as always is shy, and it was not easy to get him to check out his secret paws gifties, but once he saw that he had made it to the secret paws edition of The Morning Scratch, well it was all downhill from there. hehehe. Season Over

We were rained out of our game yesterday and rescheduled for today. We played the first inning like we had never played ball in our entire life. The score was 13 to zero, the other team winning.
The second inning we realized that we actually had played some and kept the team from scoring, however, neither did we. The third inning we finally remembered what we had been working for all spring and scored two runs, while only allowing them to score two runs.
The run rule came into play at the end of the third inning so we are out of the tournament. The boys played their hearts out during the 2nd and 3rd innings, just wish that they hadn't had such a rough start at the beginning.
We will be better next year though. Thank you for all the well wishes and support.

Also, did you all notice that the site meter is working now? The bravenet not counting correctly, as they both did not have the same number. Thank you site meter.

Update: We lost the game, but we play again on Thursday. We will have our regular pitcher so maybe we will have a better chance. Thank you all for the well wishes.
I am showing just a little bit of my tummy, which I usually do not do. As you can see I was not pleased wif Mommie and the flashy box.
An update on the baseball playing beanboy, they won their first game of the district playoffs. They will play again later tonight, the team that they will play against is pretty tough, we will let you know what happens, it is double elimination.

Can someone help our Mommie? Our site meter has disappeared, we can go to the site meter web page and get our stats but they don't show up here. We have tried changing our template, refreshing the cashe amongst other things. Please help us, we are getting close to our 5,000th visitor and we were going to have a contest, however, if we can't get our site meter to work correctly then we can't.
Update: I found a different counter which is on the top right of this page. I have been using sitemeter.com and liked it. I am trying to set this new counter to the same number as the sitemeter so that I do not miss any visitors.
Update: I have decided to use the bravenet counter whcih you see on the right. I have reset the counter so that I have not missed any visitors. Thanks for the help.
