Missy here, the beans went to Amadillo yesturday and lefted us here. They boughted them lots of different kinds of foods, they brought us de biggest bag of cat food we has ever seen. I heard the bean girl talking about growing us some grass? Oh, and guess what? They got us a new litter box!!! Mommie had been talking about getting a lectric one, but they met a really nice couple at the petmart store, who advised them to get this one: http://www.petsmart.com/product/index.jsp?productId=2755436&cp&kw=lift+and+sift&origkw=lift+and+sift&sr=1 I love it, so do the bean kids. Just lift and guess what a clean litter box. No more scooping and digging for them, and clean litter for us. Happy Dance. Oh and I think that I smelled some cat nip in the bags too. Wowwwwe

The Food Source tried something similar to this once. Mostly, it worked fine. But a couple of us are diggers, and there was usually some solid stuff stuck to the grid.
Eventually, he gave up and gave it to a shelter. Hope you kitties have better luck.

I clicked the link to see it and it certainly seems like a good idea but if Radcliff, Allie, Luna & Ozzie didn't like it because of lumps left behind, maybe the sifting tray would need to be washed an awful lot. Hope you get on with it though coz scooping litter eleventy-twelve times a day can be hard on a bean, lol:) xxx

Wow! That litter box is cool if it means no more scooping for mom and no more stinky poops if she's gone for a long time hunting and doesn't get to the scooping for day! I want one like that!
