Questions

Mommie is beginning to worry about my front pay pads. They are swollen and look like they are going to crack open. Has this happened to any of you, if so, what did you do to get it better?...Missy

Oh, poor you, this sounds uncomfortable. Is it cold where you live and do you go outside, then come back in and get your cold paws as close as you can to the heating? If so, it may be a temperature change thingy and you should stay indoors until the weather gets warmer. If you're an indoor only poodin, you may need to take a trip to the v-e-t (sorry, but it's best to be on the safe side). Perhaps your Mommie could phone the v-e-t's clinic and ask for advice on whether she should take you in? I hope your poor paws get better soon:)

I am sorry about your paws :(
Maybe you can call your Vet office I hope it is not serious.
Good luck to your Mom too, in her new job.

Hmmm..ours get a little dry and cracky looking sometimes in the winter, but I don't know about swollen pads. If your mom calls the cat fix-it place and it's just normal dryness, I think this would be the perfect excuse to get butter on your feet. Mmmm!

Oh, Zippy gets dry skin on her pads from going outside in da cold and dey gets like dey is gonna crack but not swelled up. Maybe yoo should check wif da vet at da stabby place. Mom puts some "no crack" unscented on Zippy's paws. But afore mom even did dat she checked wif da vet.

Oh, that sounds very hurty! Missy do you ever go outside where you could have stepped into something caustic? Or maybe you jumped onto something hot? Maybe this calls for a little trip to the V-E-T...

Oh my - this doesn't sound so good! we too think you should definitely check with the VET!!!
But it could be from cold/warm - are you going outside and do they maybe spread weird stuff against the ice???
We say your Mom should call the VET and see what they say...
And while you are waiting for that:
don't miss to come by and check out Antarctica - we saw penguins today!!! And tomorrow we will have a surprise visitor and Thursday a BIG party!!!
And bring the other two with you!!!

This happened once to Buffy the cat mom had before me.If your not bleeding tell your mom to rub some Vaseline on them.Yet if your bleeding
or have deep wounds you need to see the vet.
