Hi, In regards to your momma's hurting hands. She might want to see about getting a home paraffin wax spa system. It heats up the wax, and then your momma would put her hurting hands in the warm wax to build up a couple of layers, and then wrap them in towels. It helps a lot to reduce swelling and pain, and her hands will be very soft afterward. You can find them at Amazon, some drug stores, Target(sometime), and other places I can't think of. I hope her hands feel better soon.
